Photonic gyroscopes on a silicon chip - improving IMU accuracy by 30x
OSCP is enabling the future of commercial autonomous vehicles, with a photonic gyroscope that is 30x cheaper than fibre optic IMUs (used in aerospace), and up to 1,000x more accurate than MEMS (used in commercial electronics). The company is working with Thales, on an initial $4m order for deployment in the autonomous rail sector, before it expands into the mass markets of automotive and drones.
