Andrew J Scott

Serial entrepreneur turned Founding Partner 7percent Ventures, Andrew has been investing in deeptech for >10 years.

As a startup Founder Andrew built the world’s first online digital news archive (BritishPathe.com), world’s first location based mobile social network (playtxt) and an early personalisation AI startup (Rummble).

He previously sat on the board of UnLtd World (sold to Guardian Media Group), the Silicon Valley Advisory group to the EU Commission and SVB's Early Stage Advisory Board. In 2009 Andrew co-founded ICE, the not-for-profit founder community. He is also Co-Founder and Chair of DragonChasers the GP/LP community.

Today Andrew sits of the Board of Universal Quantum, Aerovolt and Greenjets. He is a long-time advocate for increased investment in advanced technologies to improve Western Democratic resilience.

Outside of tech, Andrew is a lover flying and film; and is writing a movie script based on a true WW2 story. Every July he can be found at the Royal International Air Tattoo, geeking out at fastjets.
